is producing. For maximum efficiency, the hydrogen cell should produce about 1/2 liter of hho gas for every 1 liter of your engine size.

One of the most common problems among those who install a hydrogen generator is the use of too many amps. Most people believe that the more amps they deliver to the cell, the more hho gas that will be produced, this is usually not true. The problem you may face by adding too many amps is that this heats the water too much and it produces steam instead of hho gas.

To determine whether or not your hydrogen generator is producing hydrogen gas, and to determine how many liters per minute, simply duplicate the test shown on the video we have provided. Make sure that the container you use to pump the hydrogen gas in to is 1 liter in size.

hho gasWhat happens during this test is the hho gas, which is much lighter than water, is pushed to the top of the 1 liter container. As the gas fills the container it pushes the water downward until there is only Brown's Gas left in the 1 liter container. You can click on the thumbnail to see a larger picture of the water being pushed out of the test tube by the hydrogen gas. The only difference in the video test and your hho test is your gas is produced using your hho generator and not induced by chemicals.

Next, time how long it takes for the hho gas to displace, or remove the water from the 1 liter container. Once you have these numbers it is just simple arithmetic to figure out exactly how much Brown's gas your generator is producing per minute.

If you learn that your dry cell or other hydrogen generator is not producing enough hydrogen gas do the following steps.

1. Decrease the amps by 2, test again. If it still does not work try increasing the amps by 2 over the original test amps, test again. If this produces more gas continue to increase the amps, testing the output with the increase of every 2 amps.

2. If the above does not work the problem may be the level of electrolyte in the hho generator. I recommend 1oz of KOH to 20-24oz of distilled water to start, then either dilute or add more KOH to get the cell to run between 12-16 amps.

3. If this still does not work, go back to our other hho articles and continue through each step until the generator is producing the proper amount of hydrogen gas.
